Day #14 – If I Was To Become A Crayon… What Colour Would I Choose To Be?

crayon2018.gifIf I Was To Become A Crayon… What Colour Would I Choose To Be?

If I was to become a crayon
In a colour of my choosing
I would adopt the gold one as my coat
Laying untouched in the open box
Taking on its persona;
I would choose to be that golden crayon
Because it is both rare and it’s of full of
Genuine beauty.

I would use my colouring abilities
To untarnish, all that seems wrong
Whilst polishing up its coloured lines
Before I return my golden beauty gently to the box.

But if I had a choice to choose a crayon that I would dearly love to become
I would most probably answer silver,
I write my written thoughts
Carefully upon the page and become that silver crayon and enhance with coloured beauty
My every solemn word.

Maybe I would choose a mid-range purple lilac;
Drawing you on my page;
Colouring in your troubled hand-drawn heart and soul.

Then again maybe I would choose the brightest yellowy orange; I would use this coloured crayon to draw sunflowers in your day… in hopes that with the happiness that sunflowers exuberate that a smile would be returned to your face.

So if I had to choose just one crayon
To become for even just a day;
I would certainly struggle to choose just one,
Because no two colours of crayon
Can colour the same brightness
Onto every person’s page.

So I think I would have to take on each crayon;
Melting each in my heated pot
Pouring them all into one big mould
Turning all the crayon colours of choice
Into one; with all the choices.

With my now multicoloured crayon cloak
I would behold a spectrum of many colours…
So If I Was To Become A Crayon… What Colour Would I Choose To Be?
Now I can answer you;
I would choose to be multicolour of course.

One crayon
Many colours
A spectrum of rainbows
For each and each day.
